The full title of this zodiac-inspired series is “Zodiacum Arcanum Gaydarum” — a playful nod to medieval grimoires and esoteric writings.
The series consists of twelve zodiac signs, each blending elements of contemporary gay culture with different traditions of secret knowledge — alchemy, tarot, and occult symbolism. By combining such distant themes, I wanted to capture the trajectory of modern spiritualities, which mix and match traditions in a syncretic, eclectic way.
The prints are made on softly textured, off-white paper, perfectly matching the muted, old-school tattoo–inspired color palette of the illustrations. The edition is strictly limited, and each piece is signed and numbered to guarantee authenticity. To top it off, every print comes with a bonus postcard featuring the series’ promo artwork.
